I am privileged to know an aspiring novelist, A. M. Young of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
I highly recommend her first novel, Down From Above, as a great story with wonderful characters you can easily grow to love.


Down From Above has been described by one reader as "A thrill ride of laughter, tears, and nail-chewing moments that will be remembered long after the final page has revealed itself." I wholeheartedly agree. Check it out!



A recent musical acquisition is the debut cd of Clock, which includes a number of musicians from different bands. I learned about the band because it includes Vivian Campbell, but I like it because of the music. Check out their Through Time cd at CD Baby.com.




Right now I'm enjoying, and recommending, Sam Moore's recent cd, Overnight Sensational, released August 29, 2006. Produced by Randy Jackson and accompanied by a multitude of high-caliber guest stars such as Billy Preston, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Bekka Bramlett and Jon Bon Jovi (and more!), Sam, best known for his work with Sam and Dave ("Soul Man"), truly does sound sensational here. I certainly recommend checking it out!
